The panel will discuss the various social networking sites that can be utilized to build your brand online, and identify advantages and pitfalls of these sites, their usage, and their relationship to one another. During the discussion, they will provide context for the growing significance of social networking for personal brands, as we discuss the paths each of us took in order to build our personal online reputations.
As well, we will go through the paths that we each took build our personal online reputations. Along with the steps that we would do differently if we were to do it over again.
In the spirit of social media, we will end the panel by opening the floor for a group conversation.

Jenn Lowther is an experienced internet marketer and has held several online marketing roles to date. She is currently the Director of Social Media at 6S Marketing, focusing on Social Media, Strategy, Blogging, Client Strategy, and Content Creation. Prior, she was a Social Media Strategist at Invoke and memelabs. Through these roles, she has had the great opportunity to develop her passion in working with companies to create and execute effective internet marketing strategies. Rebecca Bollwitt has been blogging about Vancouver since 2004 on Miss604.com, and podcasting since 2005. In 2008 she was listed as one of the top "Web influencers in Vancouver" by NowPublic and the Vancouver Sun and has a weekly segment on-air with Talk 1410am, discussing the latest in the Vancouver blogosphere. She is the co-founder of sixty4media, offering social media consulting services from custom WordPress themes as well as event liveblogging, blogging tutorials, and freelance web writing. Linda Bustos is an eCommerce Analyst for Elastic Path Software in Vancouver, BC and Chief Blogger at GetElastic.com where she writes about Internet marketing, social media and web design and usability.
