In January 2009, CBC Radio 3 is re-launching our website. We're using the core principles of Web 2.0 to reshape the definition of music radio.
Traditional radio and television broadcasters had pretty much figured out the rules to being successful in their business. That is, until ‘the internets’ came along. And the recession hit. Now they’re scrambling to make ends meet and are having to rethink their entire businesses.
So what if a group of web-based half-wits decided to deliberately make the WORST radio station EVER? What if they channeled George Costanza and deliberately did the EXACT OPPOSITE of every accepted rule of traditional broadcasting? Is it possible that the WORST station EVER is in fact the future of radio? Radio 2.0?
Join Steve Pratt as he celebrates the creation of the worst radio station EVER, CBC Radio 3.
