Come to Northern Voice 2010!

We've scheduled Northern Voice 2010 for May 7 and 8, 2010. Learn more on the 2010 conference site.

Location

NorthernVoice 2009 is being held at the same place as last year, the UBC Forestry Sciences Centre (UBC Map, Google Map). There are some pictures that Cyprien took of this beautiful space. The central feature is a large atrium, perfect for spontaneous get-togethers and hanging out between sessions.

The building was designed by Sebastian Butler of Dalla-Lana Griffin Dowling Knapp Architects and there's more information at this link.

Places to stay nearby are few and not at all nearby, but there is lots of parking next to the building, as well as reasonable public transit. A number of buses serve UBC; they mostly stop a couple of blocks away from the Forestry Sciences Centre. You can plan your transit schedule either on Google Maps (click on "Get Directions" and then "By public transit" in the pull-down list), or on the Translink web site (fill in the details on the right-hand side of the screen). If you're driving, please consider giving others a ride.

The following map shows the location of the Forestry Sciences Centre and the UBC bus loop, should you be coming by public transit. For a printable map, check out UBC's Wayfinding page.
