Talking about mental illness and addiction is never easy.
Paradoxically, talking about it is often the first step in finding help and getting better. This panel of tech-savvy bloggers and podcasters will address topics relevant to anyone who ever thought about blogging the hard stuff ... but was afraid to try it.

Speakers:

Tod Maffin is a national CBC Radio broadcaster and a busy
international keynote speaker. In 2005 he suffered a debilitating depression and addiction and is working to recover through his writings online.

Isabella Mori has professional and personal experience with mental illness, and is a member of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Airdrie Miller (moderator) is a Vancouver public school teacher, blogger and podcaster who shares openly abut her own battle with unipolar depression. She is passionate about breaking the stigma of mental illness.
